八年級人教新目標英語第三單元的教學設計
教材 分析
1.本單元是人教版新目標英語八年級上冊的第三單元內(nèi)容。它的中心話題是用現(xiàn)在進行時表示將來時的用法。本課是一節(jié)以語法為學習主線,以任務為語言教學模式的起始課,主要教學內(nèi)容是用現(xiàn)在進行時表達即將發(fā)生的事情。通過教學任務來整體感知進行時用法和語言環(huán)境。引導學生初步學會用進行時表達將來時的用法。培養(yǎng)學生口語交際水平,提高用英語交流、表達和思維的能力 。使我們的英語教學不再是簡單地機械記憶,而是更應注重把詞匯教學融入中生活交流環(huán)境中。
2.學會用what when how long where等特殊疑問詞詢問將來計劃的內(nèi)容。
學情 分析
1、本課以假期活動為主線,通過師生訪談,用問答的形式循序漸進地展開知識基礎和能力基礎學習。
2、在課堂設計上打造好任務型教學要求,針對學生怕參與交際的情況,鼓勵他們大膽嘗口語交際,提高學生團體活動效率,激發(fā)學生的參與意識。
教學目標

A、Words and expressions:?Where are you going for vacation?What are you doing there?When are you going there?How long are you staying? WhatwhenHong Kong, take a vacation sports campbe famous for Go to the beach sounds good . etc
B、功能:用現(xiàn)在進行時表過即將發(fā)生的事情。引導啟發(fā)學生習在新的語言知識學習任務過程中。增長學生學英語的興趣。
C、語言結(jié)構(gòu):1)用現(xiàn)在進行時表示一般將來時。2)句式結(jié)構(gòu)am/is/are + 現(xiàn)在分詞 3)常見的時態(tài)標志詞有:now, this time at the moment, listen等
D、熟練運用What, Where, When, How long等疑問詞對將來的計劃提問
2、Language skills:
培養(yǎng)學生聽、說、讀、寫的能力。在本課的任務型學習活動后,能識別不同句式的語調(diào),并能根據(jù)語調(diào)變化,判斷句子意義的變化;能聽懂本課學習活動中的`問題,做出較得體的對話、交流。寫出本節(jié)課學習的單詞和句型,能運用簡單的句子寫出將要做的活動和感受。
3、Affective objectives:
通過對將來計劃的描述,能在實際交流活動過程中,運用所學的語句尊重、理解別人,通過與他人的交流,表達自己的看法,增進友情。

教學過程
Step1、Greet the class
a. Lead in the text.播放一首英文歌曲,Are You going shopping?Tom.首歌一方面調(diào)動同學們的學習積極性,同時為下文的學習作鋪墊。
b. Show the vocabularies on the screen, let the students do English-Chinese translation.and then ask the Ss:
T: What do you usually do on vacation?
Ss: I usually play basketball…/go swimming…
以對話引入新句型,使得課的引入自然流暢,為后面句型教學進行作好準備。
用多媒體呈現(xiàn)重點句型,與學生一塊總結(jié)現(xiàn)在進行時的用法。
1. I’m going to have a party next week.
2. We are going to XiHua Park.
3. Are they going to have a basketball match tomorrow? Yes, they are.
4. ——Are you coming tomorrow?
——Yes, I’m coming.

Step3、Memory challenge
T: Today is Friday, Tomorrow is Saturday, I’m babysitting my little brother on Saturday. And I am camping on Sunday. (Teach new words: babysit and camp…) then ask students:
T: what are you doing on Saturday and Sunday?
S: I’m going hiking.
Step4、Show some pictures and ask:
What are you doing? What are they doing? What is he/she doing?
Step5、Practice
Now, Let’s work in pairs.
Talk with students about What are you doing this weekend ?
What are you/they doing?
Step6、Guessing
T: Now, Let’s play games. I will show you some pictures and you guess.

Step7、Free talk:
1.If you go tripping, What are you doing for vacation?
2.If you go tripping, What shall we take?
3.If you go tripping, Where are you going?/ When are you going?/Who are you going with?/How long are you staying?
Discuss in groups and make a vacation plan?
