現(xiàn)代的社會是交際的社會，需要舉辦或參加各種國際或國內(nèi)的會議以及宴會等，寫邀請信和請柬是一個(gè)人必備的素質(zhì)。今天我們就來介紹中文請柬和英文請柬的格式，并在后面給出中文請柬和英文請柬的范文！
由于邀請信是一種重要的社交書信，它包括正式和非正式兩種。正式的邀請信即請柬，它有固定的格式，一般用第三人稱書寫；非正式的邀請信格式不嚴(yán)格，使用第一人稱，稱呼也比較自由。
中文請柬和英文請柬、邀請函的格式
中文請柬和英文請柬有固定的格式和措辭，因此不能簡單地以單句為單位進(jìn)行翻譯，而應(yīng)從整個(gè)篇章的角度去把握，使譯文符合目的語的表達(dá)習(xí)慣。請看下面這則例子：

譯文如下：J．A．布朗先生及夫人：茲定于九月二十九日（星期六）下午四時(shí)在紐約天安教堂為小女伊麗莎白．史密斯與約翰?弗雷德里克．漢密爾頓先生舉行婚禮，屆時(shí)恭請 光臨。約翰．史密斯夫婦謹(jǐn)訂。這是一張正式的英文結(jié)婚請柬，格式采用固定的分行式。在內(nèi)容安排上按照“邀請者 被邀請者 邀請之意活動內(nèi)容 時(shí)間 地點(diǎn)”這樣的先后順序。漢語的順序是“活動時(shí)間 活動地點(diǎn) 活動內(nèi)容 邀請之意邀請者的姓名”，邀請者的姓名應(yīng)寫在右下角，與正文分開。無論是英語請柬還是漢語請柬，在語言上的要求是一致的，都須簡潔明了，措辭莊重、文雅，比如，原請柬中為表達(dá)邀請之意所用的是“request the honour of the presence of”，翻譯時(shí)用“恭請光臨”與之對應(yīng)。此外，譯文的開頭用了“茲定于”，結(jié)尾處用“謹(jǐn)訂”，這樣的用詞都體現(xiàn)了請柬正式的文體。但有兩點(diǎn)不同：第一，英文請柬從頭至尾都采用第三人稱，譯成中文時(shí)，一般應(yīng)改用第一人稱，如：“the marriage of their daughter”譯成“為小女”；第二，英文請柬中星期應(yīng)寫在日期之前，譯成漢語時(shí)，星期應(yīng)寫在日期后面的括號內(nèi)。 有時(shí)請柬下角有一些備注，提醒被邀請人應(yīng)注意的事項(xiàng)，如：R.S.V.P.：法語 “Répondez s'il vous plait” 的縮寫，即 “Please reply”，“請復(fù)函”; For regrets only：“若不能來請告知”（regrets意為“謝絕邀請的短柬”）；Dress code：著裝要求。

The Haidai area of eastern China is an important region for investigating the origins of civilization in China, and for archaeology in Eastern Asia as a whole. The chronological framework for most areas has already been established through the hard work of several generations of archaeologists. During the past decade, along with collecting important new material, the main topic has changed from chronology to the study of ancient societies, and many different opinions have appeared. Therefore, deeper research focusing on the development of economic organization, social organization, social structure, and state formation, from the perspective of theory and practice, have become more necessary.
