You seem extra busy lately, working overtime and bringing work home.
最近怎么老是在加班.而且還把工作帶回家做呢?
貝拉:
Yes, I`m really very busy these days.
是的.最近實(shí)在太忙了.
愛德華:
I`m concerned whether there are any problems at work.
我擔(dān)心你是不是工作上出了什么問題.
貝拉:
No, I`m just putting in these extra efforts for the appraisal in July.
沒有.我只是為了七月的考核而努力.
愛德華:
What`s there to worry about? Aren`t you always one of the apples of your boss`s eyes?
這有什么好擔(dān)心的`.你不一直都是你們老板眼中的紅人嗎?
貝拉:
It`s different this time. We got a new boss last month. I don`t know how he`s going to appraise us or how he is going to decide on the wage increase.
這次不一樣.上個(gè)月上任了一個(gè)新老板.我都不知道他會(huì)怎么打考核成績(jī).怎么決定今年的加薪幅度.
愛德華:
Doesn`t the company have any standard appraisal system?
難道公司沒有標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的評(píng)定制度嗎?
