一、不同時(shí)態(tài)的There be 結(jié)構(gòu)
1. There will be thousands of football fans in London next month.
(一般將來時(shí))下個(gè)月倫敦將有成千上萬的球迷。
2. There is going to be a film in our school this weekend.
(一般將來時(shí))我們學(xué)校這個(gè)周末有一場(chǎng)電影。
3. There is to be a concert at the Albert Hall tonight. It is to be broadcast live.
(一般將來時(shí))今晚在阿爾伯特會(huì)堂舉行音樂會(huì)，將要進(jìn)行實(shí)況轉(zhuǎn)播。
4. There have been a lot of accidents round here.
(現(xiàn)在完成時(shí))這里出過許多事故。
5. There has been some awful weather lately, hasn’t there?
(現(xiàn)在完成時(shí))最近天氣有時(shí)很糟糕，不是嗎?
6. He told me that there had been an argument between them.

二、含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的There be 結(jié)構(gòu)
1. There would be fewer accidents if drivers took care.
司機(jī)如果小心開車就會(huì)少出事故。
2. He felt that there must be something wrong with the car.
他當(dāng)時(shí)感覺車肯定出毛病了。
3. There may quite well be another demonstration tonight.
今晚也許又有一場(chǎng)示威。
4. Why do there have to be poor people like those?

5. There used to be a cinema here before the war.

6. There must have been a rain last night, for the ground is wet.

三、There be 結(jié)構(gòu)經(jīng)常和appear, seem, need, chance, happen, prove 等動(dòng)詞搭配
1. There appears to be little enthusiasm for your idea.

2. There seems to be something wrong with this computer.
這臺(tái)電腦好像出毛病了。
3. There doesn’t seem to have been any difficulty over the money question.
好像沒有錢的困難。
4. There appear to have been some nasty accidents.

四、There be 結(jié)構(gòu)也和be sure, be supposed, be said, be known 等短語搭配
1. There is sure to be a place where we can find a restaurant.
肯定有我們能找到飯店的地方。
2. There are supposed to be wild animals in the hills.
這山里應(yīng)該有野生動(dòng)物。
3. There is said to be a secret tunnel beneath the building.
據(jù)說這幢大樓下面有一條秘密通道。
4. There are known to be thousands of snakes on the island.
據(jù)了解，那座島上有成千上萬條蛇。
五、There be 結(jié)構(gòu)的非謂語動(dòng)詞形式
1. I expect there to be no argument about this.
(不定式短語作動(dòng)詞expect的賓語)我期望關(guān)于這件事不要爭(zhēng)了。
2. I should prefer there to be no discussion of my private affairs.
(不定式短語作動(dòng)詞prefer的賓語)我寧愿不要討論我的私事。
3. I don’t want there to be any doubt about this.
