pretend的用法
pretend to be doing 是強(qiáng)調(diào)不定式的動(dòng)作正在進(jìn)行的過程中.
pretend to do是強(qiáng)調(diào)假裝要做某事,而不一定正在進(jìn)行或者是已經(jīng)發(fā)生.
還有一種完成式pretend to have done 強(qiáng)調(diào)假裝后面的動(dòng)作已經(jīng)完成.
pretend to be reading就表示他假裝正在讀書
pretend to sleep 表示他要去睡覺

These verbs all mean to take on a false or misleading appearance.
這些動(dòng)詞都指采用虛偽的或誤導(dǎo)的表象。
Pretend often suggests a vain or transparent attempt to fool or deceive:
