　　Monica: Oh, this is Debbie. David, I'm calling to discuss with you the commodity inspection in your company.

　　David: OK. Commodity inspection is really an important part of our trade contract.

　　Monica: Yes. Let's first define the inspection right.

　　David: Following the rules of world business, the exporters have the right to inspect the goods before the delivery, while the importers have the right to re-inspect the goods after their arrival.

　　Monica: Would you tell me how the inspection is conducted before shipment and by which agency?

　　David: Inspection is to be done by the China Commodity Inspection and Testing Bureau. Usually inspection is conducted within five days before each shipment.

　　Monica: And can you tell me about the re-inspection?

　　Fred: Our quality control department is in charge of the inspection, which is directly under general manager. It is essential to attach the importance to the quality of goods. It is the basement for the future cooperation.

　　Mrs. Pheebe: That is good. And here I give you a piece of advice. You should have used stronger cardboard boxes for such a heavy item. Besides, it's better to secure the cartons with metal straps. What's more, the order number wasn't anywhere on some of the boxes.
