Men who father daughters are more generous in the workplace and pay higher wages, according to new research.

The study aimed to understand why some wealthy men are more generous than others. Some billionaires are renowned for giving away vast sums of money - Bill Gates, for example, has given away ￡18 billion in charitable gifts – while others do not donate any money at all.
