　　michael: how is the new job treating you?

　　1) office hours: open and closing times, hours of operation(辦公時間，即公司、單位上班到下班的時間)

　　our office hours are mon-fri from 9am to 5 pm.

　　2) badge: a small sign you wear that contains your name and photo and other info　(證件：你戴的小標(biāo)牌，上面標(biāo)明你的姓名、照片和其它一些信息)

　　you must wear your badge at all times in our corporate office.

　　3) (id) identification: says who you are：(身份證、說明你的身份)

　　types of badges and their purposes 標(biāo)識牌的種類和他們的用途

　　1) badges are usually given out at a security office near the front door of the office building. there you will fill out a form and then a badge will be issued to you.

　　通常在辦公大樓前門的保衛(wèi)處負(fù)責(zé)發(fā)放標(biāo)牌。一般上說,在你填好規(guī)定的表格之后就能拿到標(biāo)牌了。

　　2) when you pick up your badge, the security guard may remind you of their companies office hours.

　　3) id badges list your name, clearance, and what department you work in. these are always adorned with a photo of the employee. "clearance" means where you can and can not go.
