fall for sth就是信以為真的意思(to be tricked into believing something that is not true)
I'm surprised you fell for that trick.

英語(yǔ)里,overdo it/things表示"工作、學(xué)習(xí)等過(guò)分努力(to work, study, etc. too hard or for too long)

daydream就是做白日夢(mèng)的.意思.后面加about sb/sth.

spaced-out就是"精神恍惚,魂不守舍"的意思(Someone who is spaced-out feels as if nothing around them is real, usually because they have taken drugs or because they are very tired. )通常是因?yàn)檫^(guò)度疲勞或者嗑藥所致.

我聯(lián)絡(luò)不上他!
"聯(lián)絡(luò)"一詞,用簡(jiǎn)簡(jiǎn)單單的"reach"就可以表達(dá).
reach:to communicate with somebody, especially by telephone (尤指用電話(huà))聯(lián)系,與…取得聯(lián)系

now you're talking在口語(yǔ)中很常見(jiàn),是表示贊同對(duì)方的話(huà)時(shí)用的.

blue可以指"郁悶的,愁?lèi)灥?quot;
He'd been feeling blue all week.

point就是"重點(diǎn),要點(diǎn)"的意思.come to the point!語(yǔ)氣有點(diǎn)強(qiáng)硬,如果還想加強(qiáng)效果的話(huà),還可以加上straight.
I'll come straight to the point: we need more money.
我就直說(shuō)吧:我們還需要錢(qián).
也可以說(shuō)成是"get to the point",如:
I wish he would get to the point(= say it quickly).
