Always remember you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. ----Winnie the Pooh

Try to think that it's not that important: there will be other interviews in future and it's not the end of the world if you don't get this job.

Preparation is key - the more preparation you have done, such as working out answers to common interview questions, and doing careful research on the organisation and job, the more relaxed you will feel.

Some people swear by visualisation. The night before, visualise yourself undergoing the whole interview, step by step, and imagine everything going really well, you answering questions confidently, and ultimately getting the job.

Dress smartly but comfortably. If you look good, you will feel good.

Adopting power poses beforehand can make you feel more confident at interview. Standing upright with hands on your hips, leaning over a desk with hands firmly on the surface, or steepling your hands can increase testos terone, decrease stress, and make you feel more in control, more confident and more assertive. Practicing power poses right before an interview can also increase performance. Research at Harvard Business School found that holding power poses for two minutes before interview led candidates to be evaluated more favourably and increased their chances of a job offer by 20%. So if you’re worried about a job interview or presentation, strike a power pose a few minutes beforehand (not of course at the interview!) but in the washroom, or before leaving home.

Start the interview in a positive manner - smiling, eye contact, a firm handshake at the start will help a lot.

Don't worry too much about making a mistake: nearly everyone fluffs one question and research suggests interviewers prefer candidates who come across as human to those who appear "plastic perfect".

Professor Sian Bellock investigated why our performance reduces under pressure. "Getting people to write about their worries beforehand ... can really help...so they are less likely to pop up and impact your performance.".

外教William Hill先生告訴我們:“I interviewed a lot of candidates in Shanghai, a few of which did impress me deeply with veteran skills. I was surprised at their spoken English because they appeared to be a Chinese American. I just couldn't decline them.”

關(guān)于這個(gè)問題William Hill說:“I don't think candidates with those certificates are up to par, because what we focus on is the communicating ability. And, as is known, CET and TEM don't seem to test one's speaking skills. But he who owns an IELTS or TOEFL certificate may be preferred.”

Could you say something about yourself? Could you sell yourself within a few minutes?

Why do you wanna work for us? What makes you come here today?

請?jiān)诨卮疬@個(gè)問題的時(shí)候充滿信心,不要說是來試試的(you really wanna take a try?),如果能事先將公司信息整理好并梳理一下和自己的職業(yè)技能相結(jié)合來介紹,則可謂Perfect Response。

5、關(guān)于你的弱點(diǎn):What do you think is your greatest weakness? May I know it?

I don't think I have any weakness"?

How do you like your last job? Why did ya leave your last job?

How long do you propose to work here?

  這個(gè)問題對職場老手來說簡直就是a piece of cake。

8、反問的機(jī)會(huì):Ok, now if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

  “Nope, I have none, thanks!”

  1、up to par 達(dá)到標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

2、I won't let the cat out of the bag.

  3、get on the ball

  4、a piece of cake

  5、face the music 勇于承擔(dān)責(zé)任
