　　Good afternoon everybody, I'm He Hailun, you can just call me Helen. I come from the school of international trade and economics. My hometown is the famous city called Urumqi located in the northwest of China.

　　Perhaps it is because of the circumstance I grow up; I'm crazy about sports and music. I used to be a full back in the school team when I was in senior high. And I have played violin for 12 years.Every second I spend with my violin, I can feel the melody flows through both of us. Also I'm a person who is eager for reading. The favorite kind of book for me is history, including biography, which is also a kind of history for a single person from my perspective. According to my experience, I realized that I have three major qualities. First, I'm an ambitious attitude essential person. When I was in primary school, I adored those people who had a kind of ability to run a company successfully. So, I aspired after becoming an accomplished enterpriser. And secondly, I'm a person who is willing to work under pressure and I don't mind to challenge myself.

　　From my perspective, people at our age should seize the time to practice our abilities and make ourselves qualified. I used to be very shy and afraid of speaking to strangers. So, I decided to join different kinds of competitions, such as singing and lecture to overcome the weakness. Last but not the least; I have an initiative, independent and good communication skill. 　　Like every little girl, I have my wonderland. In this place, it is full of fascinating melodies flowing from my heart . Despite obsessed in my paradise, I am puzzled by two questions. One is how music notes can compose beautiful sounds. The other one is how music instruments can make the sounds vivid. Both of these questions are solved by a kind of instrument, violin.

　　It was a day that I would never forget in my life. When I was in the primary school, I went to an information session organized by students’ union. The session was set up by some students from Musicians Institute. They wanted to teach children instruments so that they could improve their skills as well. It was the first time that I really saw a person playing the violin. As soon as I heard the voice from this magical instrument, I realized that this was the sound I had been looking for and this was the melody my fairyland had been filled with. I signed my name on the application form. From then on, my journey with the violin has begun.

　　Because of my experience with the electronic organ, it is not difficult for me to be acquainted with music scores. But the most challenging part when I learned to play the violin was that I had to grope the tune myself. It is also one of attractive characteristics of the violin. The sound comes from four strings. Besides these four basic sounds, no tone is fixed on the instrument. So the player is the only factor that can master the rhythm of the violin.

　　To me, the violin is more than a friend. It has companioned with me over eleven years. While I am playing it, I can communicate with the rest of the world easily and express my feelings smoothly. Through its strings, music notes are composed perfectly and rhythm is delivered lively. Melodies flowing in my mind are the source of the sound of music.
