　　該面試主要針對(duì)Tier 4 (General)Student visa的申請(qǐng)者，也就是國(guó)內(nèi)所有申請(qǐng)出國(guó)留學(xué)的人員。對(duì)于Children和Student visitor簽證目前不增加面試程序。

　　二、面試流程

　　在英國(guó)簽證中心遞交申請(qǐng)材料的學(xué)生將會(huì)領(lǐng)取到一份面試手冊(cè)，里面主要介紹了面試系統(tǒng)的使用。被抽到參加面試的同學(xué)將被告知面試方式和時(shí)間。面試主要通過(guò)三種途徑進(jìn)行面對(duì)面、電話以及Skype。一般而言，學(xué)生會(huì)在遞交材料的同時(shí)被要求參加Skype面試。

　　整個(gè)過(guò)程將持續(xù)大約10分鐘。面試由設(shè)在英國(guó)謝菲爾德(Sheffiled)的辦事人員負(fù)責(zé)。他們會(huì)主要針對(duì)一些基本問(wèn)題進(jìn)行提問(wèn)并做記錄(比如姓名、生日、申請(qǐng)學(xué)校、選擇這所學(xué)校的理由、選擇該專業(yè)的理由、為什么要去英國(guó)等，基本上和在英國(guó)機(jī)場(chǎng)入境時(shí)被問(wèn)到的問(wèn)題差不多)。這些辦事人員并不是簽證官，沒(méi)有決定學(xué)生簽證是否通過(guò)的職權(quán)。他們只是將記錄材料以報(bào)告形式提交給簽證官，作為申請(qǐng)材料的補(bǔ)充。據(jù)悉，英國(guó)政府已經(jīng)配備了足夠的人員來(lái)配合新規(guī)定的實(shí)施，因此不會(huì)大幅度的延長(zhǎng)申請(qǐng)時(shí)間。

　　三、簽證面試的主要目的

　　該面試主要對(duì)學(xué)生個(gè)人信息的真實(shí)性、留學(xué)動(dòng)機(jī)和個(gè)人能力進(jìn)行綜合的評(píng)估，以此減少以留學(xué)為幌子的其他非法行為，并間接提高留學(xué)生的整體質(zhì)量。

　　因此，只要學(xué)生提供信息真實(shí)準(zhǔn)確、了解申請(qǐng)學(xué)校和專業(yè)的基本情況、并且具備基本的英文溝通能力，就不必?fù)?dān)心該面試對(duì)其簽證申請(qǐng)的影響。

　　四、參加面試的建議

　　1.雖然簽證中心表示該規(guī)定不會(huì)影響簽證審理時(shí)間，但這里仍然建議學(xué)生提前申請(qǐng)簽證。

　　2.申請(qǐng)學(xué)校和簽證的材料必須真實(shí)可靠。

　　3.建議學(xué)生在收到留學(xué)顧問(wèn)的留學(xué)方案后，到學(xué)校的官方的網(wǎng)站了解所申請(qǐng)專業(yè)的詳細(xì)信息。

　　4.面試當(dāng)天務(wù)必提前抵達(dá)面試地點(diǎn)，不要遲到。

　　5.該面試并不是雅思口語(yǔ)考試，沒(méi)有成績(jī)。所以請(qǐng)學(xué)生以平常心面對(duì)，不必過(guò)分緊張。

　　6.平時(shí)在家可以多練習(xí)用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)自己的留學(xué)意愿和對(duì)申請(qǐng)專業(yè)的描述。
