作為一個(gè)廣告人,我對(duì)大城市那鋪天蓋地?zé)o孔不入的廣告特別敏感。每天都要看廣告聽廣告評(píng)廣告討論廣告設(shè)計(jì)廣告,時(shí)間長(zhǎng)了,我就像掉進(jìn)了廣告的陷階之中,深感痛苦和厭倦。
終于,忍無可忍,我回到我闊別多年的老家,并且專門住到了一個(gè)遠(yuǎn)離縣城的小鎮(zhèn)上。這里山清水秀,民風(fēng)古樸,正可以修心養(yǎng)性,醫(yī)治我疲憊至極的身心。而令我哭笑不得的是,廣告風(fēng)也刮到這大山深處來了,醒目的墻上,街兩邊的電線桿上,都貼滿了形形色色的打印體或手寫體廣告。
這天早上,我見一堆人站在一張用白紙寫成的'廣告前,指指點(diǎn)點(diǎn),議論紛紛,便走攏去看個(gè)究竟。只見廣告上寫著:廣大農(nóng)友須知,昨天在這里賣稻種的,是我兒子。他說是良種,其實(shí)是劣種。請(qǐng)買了這種種子的,千萬不要當(dāng)種子用,并請(qǐng)大家互相轉(zhuǎn)告,請(qǐng)買了種子的到我家退還,本人將如數(shù)退款,就是砸鍋賣鐵也要給大家退款。古人說,養(yǎng)不教,父之過也。本人教子無方,對(duì)不起廣大農(nóng)友,請(qǐng)有關(guān)部門對(duì)我進(jìn)行處罰。落款是板栗坡村劉貴根。
我當(dāng)即決定轉(zhuǎn)去取相機(jī),把這幅廣告拍下來,把這個(gè)場(chǎng)面拍下來。由于心情太激動(dòng),我沒走幾步就一路小跑起來。我覺得這是我見過的_____廣告,____廣告,____廣告。
我把相機(jī)取來了,先站在遠(yuǎn)處拍下一堆人指指點(diǎn)點(diǎn)議論紛紛的鏡頭,又?jǐn)D攏去拍那幅廣告的特寫。可我舉起相機(jī)卻傻眼了--那幅廣告上竟然被覆蓋了一幅新的廣告!只見廣告上寫著:各位農(nóng)友:由于我父親思想陳舊,不懂科學(xué),分不清什么是良種什么是劣種,所以他才寫了那個(gè)讓大家找他退款的廣告。這完全是一個(gè)誤會(huì),請(qǐng)大家不要退種,放心使用。
我一下子就被鬧糊涂了。但我還是舉起相機(jī),把這個(gè)廣告拍了下來。
我決定吃過午飯就到板栗坡村去找劉貴根老漢聊一聊。吃飯的時(shí)候,我就向親戚打聽板栗坡村離鎮(zhèn)里有多遠(yuǎn),他們說不遠(yuǎn),只有兩里多路,還說劉貴根是個(gè)老老實(shí)實(shí)種了一輩子田的莊稼漢,基本上是個(gè)文盲,他那廣告,肯定是找人寫的。他們也聽說了廣告的事,但他們沒有買那種種子,他們說:我們幸虧沒買。
吃了飯休息了一會(huì)兒,我就起身到板栗坡去。走到鎮(zhèn)上,聽人議論說劉老漢又貼了新的廣告,我就想還是先看看他貼的新廣告再說。
還是在那個(gè)地方,照樣圍著一堆人。我走攏去,見劉老漢的廣告又覆蓋在他兒子的廣告上。只見廣告上寫著:廣大農(nóng)友:別聽我兒子胡說,他賣的種子肯定是假的,這是他親口對(duì)他媳婦說的,是我老伴在廚房里親耳聽到的,不信大家可以到縣里找人鑒定。凡是相信我說的,我負(fù)責(zé)退款,不相信我的,到時(shí)候吃了虧請(qǐng)千萬不要怨恨我。我在這里宣布,從今天起,我和我兒子劉石頭斷絕父子關(guān)系。他要是再進(jìn)我的家門,我就打斷他的狗腿。
我即刻掏出相機(jī),拍了起來。
雖然現(xiàn)在已進(jìn)入了廣告時(shí)代,但這很可能是全世界最少見的廣告。

A man once said how useless it was to put advertisements in the newspapers. ―Last week,‖ said he, ―my umbrella was stolen from a London Church. As it was a present, I spent twice its worth in advertising, but didn’t get it back.‖
―How did you write your advertisement?‖ asked one of the listeners, a merchant.
―Here it is,‖ said the man, taking out of his pocket a slip cut from a newspaper. The other man took it and read. ― Lost from the City Church last Sunday evening, a black silk umbrella. The gentleman who finds it will receive ten shillings on leaving it at No. 10 Broad Street.‖
―Now,‖ said the merchant, ―I often advertise, and find that it pays me well. But the way in which an advertisement is expressed is of great importance. Let us try for your umbrella again, and if it fails, I’ll buy you a new one.‖ The merchant then took a slip of paper out of his pocket and wrote. ―If the man who was seen to take an umbrella from the City Church last Sunday evening doesn’t wish to get into trouble, he will return the umbrella to No. 10 Broad Street. He is well known.‖
This appeared in the paper, and on the following morning, the man was astonished when he opened the front door. In the doorway lay at least twelve umbrellas of all sizes and colours that had been thrown in, and his own was among them. Many of them had notes fastened to them saying that they had been taken by mistake, and begging the loser not to say anything about the matter.
