The following measures can be taken to avoid this phenomenon. To begin with, authorities should strengthen the supervision of the news media so as to reduce the spread of misinformation. At the same time, the news media which publish false news to draw people’s attention must be punished. Besides, the news media should always adopt a responsible attitude towards news.
