Generation gap between parents and children
Nowadays , there are more and more misunderstanding between parents and children which is so- called generation gap . It is estimated that (75 percentages of parents often complain their children‘s unreasonable behavior while children usually think their parents too old fashioned).
Why have there been so much misunderstanding between parents and children?Maybe the reasons can be listed as follows . The first one is that ( the two generations, having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes ,thus the disagreement often rises between them) . Besides(due to having little in common to talk about , they are not willing to sit face to face ) . The third reason is (with the pace of modern life becoming faster and faster , both of them are so busy with their work or study that they don‘t spare enough time to exchange ideas ).To sum up ,the main cause of XX is due to ( lake of communication and understanding each other) .
It is high time that something were done upon it. For one thing (children should respect their parents ).On the other hand ,( parents also should show solicitue for their children). All these measures will certainly bridge the generation gap .

Nowadays, with the rapid development of our society, almost all the graduates have to face a choice: to get a job first or to find the job you like first? As far as I am concerned, the graduates should get a job first and then choose the job they like。 The reasons can be listed as follows:
First of all, for many students, even they themselves don’t know what kind of job they want to choose。 For these students, to get a job first can help them find out their favorite job through trying different work。 What’s more, the graduates are all under great employment pressure。 There are thousands of graduates need to find their jobs every year。 So if the graduates don’t get their jobs as soon as they leave the school, they will miss the best chance to get a job。 Last but not least, one can accumulate experience and broaden horizons in his or her first job。 It’s certain that these experiences will contribute to future job。 As the famous saying goes “One should apply theory to practice!保 students should apply what they have learned in class to their jobs, thus enhancing their working skills。
Above all, nowadays under the greater employment pressure, the graduates should get a job first and then to choose the job they like。 Since students can have a better understanding of what they like and gain experience in the first job。

參考范文:
Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when he starts his career. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in the big cities. To them, big cities mean more experiences, more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation.
But some other graduates want to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier.
As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

High Salaries or Career Development?
There are more and more people looking for jobs every year, but they have different views about what kind of job they should choose. Some of them focus their attention on the jobs that promise high salaries. Others show a preference for those jobs that offer chances to learn skills and advancement possibilities.
People holding the first view usually think that more money will result in more happiness. With a lot of money in hand, they will be able to enjoy a rich life. Otherwise, they will suffer from depression due to lack of enough money. However, the holders of the second view argue that one should develop his skills as roundly as possible. It is career development that counts most. Without development, you will be outrun by others and fall behind the times sooner or later.

Should College Students Be Allowed to Get Married?
There isno denying the fact that it is a hotly debated topic today whethercollege students should be allowed to get married. Some time ago, theban was lifted by some universities on students getting married. Tothis peoples attitudes differ sharply. Some hold the positive view. They say that most college students are adults and that it is a basicright for those who have reached the appropriate ages to get married.Besides, they argue that with their biological and emotional needs met, these students will study better. The ban on this means a severeviolation of human rights.
Many others, however, hold the negative opposite view. Theyclaim that the university or college is a place to study instead of acommunity to lead family life. Allowing college students to get marriedwould adversely affect their study. For instance, they would spend toomuch time attending their family and love, unable to concentrate ontheir school work.

Traveling by Train or by Plane
1.我們出遠(yuǎn)門(mén)總要坐火車或飛機(jī)
2.坐火車和坐飛機(jī)各有什么利弊
3.你的'結(jié)論如何
When we go on a business trip, we will be faced with the choice of traveling by train or by plane. Before making the right choice,we had better make a close comparison and contrast of them.
First of all, a train will take us to our target railway station. Also, a plane will take us to the target airport, Second, in a train we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside. Likewise, in a plane we can command a good view of fields, buildings, mountains and even plains of clouds. Despite these similarities, they differ in the following aspects. First, a train ticket is cheap. Most of us can afford it. However, a plane ticket is about twice as expensive as a train ticket. Most of us grudge paying for it. Besides, it is safer to travel by train. If the train gets into some trouble, we may survive by jumping out of it. On the contrary, if we travel by plane, we have to ask God to bless us. However, it takes us longer time to travel by train than by plane.
Therefore, it depends which transportation tool we should choose. If we just want to save money,we will travel by train; but if we want to save time, we will turn to the plane.

Recently a blind date including 20 young men and women has been held by an organization。 Some people see it as a good way to meet different people while others argue that its not possible to find ones partner between two people who have not previously met。 As far as Im concerned, blind dating is worth trying and you can find your true love there!
First of all, nowadays many young people are always busying with their work; therefore they have little spare time to meet with their future partner, leading to more and more leftover women and men。 According to a study, a happy life includes work and family balance, which means a harmonious family including the couple may contribute to a comparably happy life。
Whats more, during a blind date, usually the basic information is given to both parts; therefore its more reliable to know a persons family background, his or her job, religion etc。 As is known to all, a couple should have the same belief in value, wealth, thus preventing many potential conflicts。
Last but not least, through blind dates, one can meet people with different personalities, thus having a clearer idea about which kind of person is suitable for being a lifelong mate。 And blind dates are also great chances to make friends in the same age group。
To sum up, blind dating can be a good way to find ones future husband or wife。 Its feasible and reliable。 Hope that everyone can find true love in blind dates!

Confronting the more and more severe employment situation, university graduates have tried indirect employment for finding ways out. Instead of getting good jobs, they try to gain social experience by doing internships or taking in some social activities.
I am completely in favor of taking indirect employment. Firstly, it can not only relieve employment pressure, but also let students gain new knowledge and practical experience which can’t be gotten from books. Secondly, it benefits students a lot since it helps them to realize clearly what their real potentials are, and in which kind of jobs they really show interests. Last but not the least, it improves university students’ social skills, qualifications and personal qualities, which are the main factors for their future jobs.
