圣誕節(jié)是西方最重要的節(jié)日。“圣誕節(jié) Christmas”原是“基督彌撒 Christmass”的縮寫。傳說記載，12月25日是耶穌的生日，在這一天，世界各地的天主教會(huì)都要舉行彌撒紀(jì)念耶穌的生日。
