B：我國素稱禮儀之邦，其重視禮節(jié)程度不亞于歐美任何一國。但是由于中西風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣有很大的差異，如果我們對此不了解，在與英美人進行交往時，就會引起對方的誤會，發(fā)生不必要的誤解。這里我僅把英美人在問候、告辭和稱呼上的禮節(jié)習(xí)慣介紹給大家，以便有助于大家的英語學(xué)習(xí)和同外國朋友的交往。
一、 Greetings 問候
我們中國人見面打招呼時習(xí)慣說：您吃過了嗎？（Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?）或者說：您上哪去？（Where are you going? ）。而英美人見面時如果是上午則說：Good morning. 如果是在下午則說：Good afternoon, 在傍晚就說:Good evening. 如果與熟人打招呼則說：How are you? 如果是與較熟的人或朋友打招呼則說：Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我們中國人見面打招呼時常說的."Have you eaten？"去問候英美人，就會引起對方的`誤解，因為"Have you eaten？"在英語里不是打招呼用語，而是"邀請對方去吃飯"。如果見到英美人時說："Where are you going？"他們會很不高興。因為"Where are you going？"對英美人來說則是"即干涉別人的私事。" A:二、 Parting 告辭
到別人家串門或作客，告辭時，英美人習(xí)慣說："I should go now." 或 " Id better be going now."意思都是"我得走了"。英美人在告辭時從不說："Ill go back."（我回去了。）或"Ill go first."（我先走了。）因為在英語里, "Ill go first."的意思是："時間不早了，客人們該離開了。我先走給大家起了頭，其他客人也應(yīng)該馬上離去。"
B:三、 Addressing People 稱呼
平時，我們常聽到學(xué)生稱呼老師為"Teacher Wang"(王老師)，"Teacher Li"（李老師），即便對外籍教師也是如此稱呼。其實這是不符合英美人習(xí)慣的。
在英語中，"teacher"不能用于稱呼。那么怎么來稱呼老師才符合英語習(xí)慣呢？一般來說，英美人稱呼中小學(xué)的男老師為"Sir"，或Mr，女教師為"Miss"，如 Mr wang Miss zhang Miss Green

Joanna:Today we are talking about some fruit-related idioms.
Jakki: Thats right. Today we are going to be looking at， in particular apples. So I think everyone knows about apples. Apples they come in so many different varieties. And for some reason in English, there are so many different idioms and sayings around apples.
Joanna: 蘋果好像在英美文化中有非常重要的文化屬性，所以有很多的idiom短語是跟蘋果有關(guān)的。
Jakki: Thats right, so were going to take a look at a few here. So starting off, “as American as apple pie”, basically saying that apple pie is the epitome of being American, and so if you’re as American as apple pie, then you’re just very American.

Apple and orange are both fruits, but if you look at them, its impossible to compare them because they are so different.

Jakki: Then “as sure as God made little green apples” basically just means that you are very certain. So Im sure this, as sure as God made little green apples.
Joanna:當你對一件事情確認無疑毫無疑問的時候你就可以說as sure as God made little green apples.

Jakki: Then to be a “bad apple” or a “rotten apple” is to be a bad person. You can also say that “one bad (or rotten) apple can spoil the whole bunch (or barrel)” implies that one flawed person can basically undermine an effort or a group, and you can be “rotten to the core” to be thoroughly bad or worthless.
