英文復(fù)活節(jié)的來歷

復(fù)活節(jié)的計(jì)算方法
復(fù)活節(jié)會(huì)在每年春分月圓之后第一個(gè)星期日舉行，因?yàn)榇悍种蟊卑肭虮汩_始日長(zhǎng)夜短——光明大過黑暗，月圓的時(shí)候，不但在日間充滿光明，就連漆黑的夜晚也被光輝(月光)照耀。
羅馬皇帝君士坦丁一世在公元325年召開第一次尼西亞公會(huì)議，訂明了復(fù)活節(jié)是星期日，因星期日被教會(huì)視作為耶穌死而復(fù)活的日子，所以復(fù)活節(jié)就在每年春分月圓后第一個(gè)星期日舉行。
此后每年3月21日以后，出現(xiàn)月圓后的第一個(gè)星期日，就是復(fù)活節(jié)，惟計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方法，自古以來均十分復(fù)雜，拉丁文Computus(計(jì)算)一字更專指計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方法，而羅馬教會(huì)及東正教會(huì)的計(jì)算亦略有差異，令東西方復(fù)活節(jié)可在不同日子出現(xiàn)。
1997年，國(guó)際普世教會(huì)協(xié)會(huì)在敘利亞召開會(huì)議時(shí)，曾建議改革計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方式，并建議統(tǒng)一東、西教會(huì)的復(fù)活節(jié)，但至今絕大部分國(guó)家仍沒有跟隨。
復(fù)活節(jié)習(xí)俗
復(fù)活彩蛋
復(fù)活節(jié)有不少傳統(tǒng)的慶�；顒�(dòng)，蛋就是復(fù)活節(jié)最典型的象征。古時(shí)人們常把蛋視為多子多孫和復(fù)活的象征，因?yàn)樗杏碌纳：髞砘浇掏接仲x予蛋以新的涵義，認(rèn)為它是耶穌墓的象征，未來的生命就是從其中掙脫而出世。復(fù)活節(jié)人們常把蛋染成紅色，代表耶穌受難時(shí)流的鮮血，同時(shí)也象征復(fù)活后的快樂。還有一種古老的習(xí)俗，是把煮熟的彩蛋送給街頭的孩子們做游戲。他們把彩蛋從山坡上滾下：誰(shuí)的'蛋最后破，誰(shuí)就獲得勝利，全部彩蛋都?xì)w他所有。美國(guó)白宮每年也玩這種游戲，只不過是把蛋放在草坪上滾動(dòng)而已。
復(fù)活兔子
依據(jù)歐洲古老的傳說，野兔是一種終日不閉眼的動(dòng)物。它們能在黑夜里，觀看四周其它的動(dòng)物，因此，野兔就代表著黑夜中一輪皎潔的明月。再加上復(fù)活節(jié)日子的計(jì)算是以春天月圓為基準(zhǔn)于是就將春天繁殖力強(qiáng)的野兔視為復(fù)活節(jié)的一個(gè)象征。這習(xí)俗傳入美國(guó)后，美國(guó)人還為兔子取了一個(gè)可愛的名字，叫它復(fù)活節(jié)的邦尼兔。成年人會(huì)形象生動(dòng)地告訴孩子們復(fù)活節(jié)彩蛋會(huì)孵化成小兔子。許多家庭還會(huì)在花園草坪里放些彩蛋，讓孩子們玩找彩蛋的游戲。
送百合花
百合花象征神圣與純潔。人們喜愛以在春天、復(fù)活節(jié)左右盛開的百合花來代表耶穌基督的圣潔。另外，形狀像喇叭的百合花，也像是正大聲宣揚(yáng)耶穌基督復(fù)活的好消息。
交換十字架
復(fù)活節(jié)那天，有許多人會(huì)將煮熟的蛋用顏料畫上與復(fù)活節(jié)相關(guān)的圖案。例如：十字架、釘子、百合花、兔子等等，裝飾的五彩繽紛。然后互相交換，提醒耶穌的復(fù)活。也有人喜歡玩尋找彩蛋的游戲，大人先將彩蛋藏在花園草叢中，讓小朋友們?nèi)フ摇Ｕ业讲实暗娜�，就要說出蛋上圖案的意義。比如說，十字架是耶穌為我們死在十字架上，釘子則是提醒我們耶穌基督被釘子釘在十字架上。
敲鐘聲
在法國(guó)及意大利，除了受難節(jié)的前一天起一連四天，復(fù)活節(jié)鐘聲全年隨處可聞，沒有鐘聲是要提醒我們耶穌的死，鐘聲在復(fù)活節(jié)主日會(huì)重鳴，提醒我們耶穌基督已復(fù)活。
點(diǎn)焰火
人們?cè)诮烫们包c(diǎn)燭以示圣化，并將圣燭迎進(jìn)千家萬(wàn)戶。這一天，孩子們最快樂的事是把圣火送到各家。他們?cè)诮烫们坝檬セ瘘c(diǎn)燃樹枝，然后奔跑著送到各家各戶，其間充滿著歡快的節(jié)日氣氛。
