全國有二十多萬人從事汽車技術(shù)服務(wù)與營銷工作，而接受過系統(tǒng)培訓(xùn)的服務(wù)營銷人員還不到從業(yè)人員的百分之十，特別是經(jīng)過專業(yè)化培訓(xùn)的優(yōu)秀技術(shù)服務(wù)與營銷人員，具備專業(yè)汽車營銷能力，能夠從事汽車營銷、技術(shù)服務(wù)、汽車信貸、汽車保險與理賠、二手車交易等復(fù)合型人才更是十分匱乏。2009年，我國汽車銷量達(dá)1350萬輛，位列世界第一。汽車市場的擴(kuò)大，使汽車技術(shù)服務(wù)營銷人員成為就業(yè)市場上的搶手貨。 我國汽車制造、汽車銷售、汽車維修、汽車售后服務(wù)行業(yè)對汽車技術(shù)服務(wù)人員的預(yù)測需求量約為80萬，而汽車維修行業(yè)每年需新增從業(yè)人員近30萬，急需具有現(xiàn)代服務(wù)意識和現(xiàn)代維修技能的行家能手。目前，維修企業(yè)的發(fā)展和人員素質(zhì)遠(yuǎn)不能滿足行業(yè)發(fā)展之需。在現(xiàn)有的220萬從業(yè)人員中，接受過中級以上系統(tǒng)職業(yè)技術(shù)教育的專門人才比例僅占20%左右，技師和高級技師只有8%，且年齡偏大，知識老化，一級工人中38.5%文化程度在初中以下，已成為制約汽車維修業(yè)發(fā)展的“瓶頸”。也正因此，汽車應(yīng)用技術(shù)專業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)被列入了“國家制造業(yè)和現(xiàn)代服務(wù)業(yè)技能緊缺人才培養(yǎng)工程”。
